      These finishes span two years—from December 1997 to December 1999. This period began as a difficult time for me, as I was going through my divorce and the stitching helped me cope. By Fall 1998 I had a nice new job at a local university and life in general had gotten better, yet I continued with my favorite relaxing hobby.
      In the beginning I worked on only one design at a time. But in late 1998/1999 I started a few larger designs such as Donna Vermillion Giampa's Rose Petal Angel and Paula Vaughan's November Quilt, and I found it hard to focus on either one for a long period of time; both spent most of their unstitched existence in my UFO pile.
      The first and the last four items below were from kits, Napa Valley was my first internet "freebie" and my first attempt on linen, and the rest were from my small collection of leaflets/booklets.
      There are several more finishes that are not listed on this page. I don't plan on adding all the refrigerator magnets or clothespin angels I stitched, but there are a couple of small framed pieces I will eventually put here when I get around to it.
