Love One Another

I wanted to do a quickie and use some of my Vikki Clayton silks, so this worked out great. The design is actually a tribute to George Harrison, but I left out the tribute part of the design.

I didn't use any of the fibers listed in the chart, but here is my list of substitutes:

lettering - Thread Gatherer Silk 'n' Colors - Jelly Bean
bright hearts, center of peace symbol - Vikki Clayton silk floss - Carribean Splash
light hearts - Vikki Clayton silk floss - Cherry Blossom
outer peace symbol - Vikki Clayton silk floss - Alpine

I don't have the best color sense (it's very hit-and-miss), and even though it turned out beautifully colorful, it's hard to read. I still love it anyway. I stitched the lower-right heart in diagonals, so the pink turned out spotty instead of stripey, which is kind of nice. I washed the whole piece after I finished, and none of the silk floss colors ran. Thumbs up!
