A Hug Will Do

This was a quick freebie from the Lizzie*Kate website. It's a small design, which is why I decided to stitch it on 25ct fabric. I think I will finish this as a tissue box.

What I used (none were the recommended fibers):

• words - Gentle Arts Sampler Threads "Red Plum"
• arches - Needle Necessities "Cluny Rose"
• spots - Mill Hill #03055 "Bay Leaf"

Before stitching this design, I was afraid of using GAST because of their reputation for bleeding. I soaked a 6-ply strand of Red Plum in some cold water for 10 minutes before using it, and the water stayed clear and I noticed no color loss. So I will now venture more often into GAST territory in the future.
