This is a Dimensions "Gold Collection" kit. It came with 18ct ivory Aida but I decided to use 32ct linen instead, which is equivalent to 16ct Aida in stitched size, and so the final size will be about 1 1/2 inches wider/taller. My brother paid for the chart so that I could stitch this for him. I originally started with the face over-two (chin area), and when I picked it back up on January 10, 2002, I stitched up most of the hair and started the face over-one, which is making the backstitching so much easier. The model stitcher for this must have had a lot of fun splitting Aida threads. I did not want to use the black floss that came with the kit, so I substituted Anchor black (301). I'll also be testing the reds and purples for colorfastness and report my results here.
